Dina Molina, LCSW

“Therapy is healing trauma that holds negative space within our spirit. These negative spaces create unhealthy patterns of behavior that hinder us from having the most healthy relationships within our self and our lives.”

I have training working with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, self esteem challenges, maturational crisis, crisis management, career counseling, life coaching, etc.

I work with people on a wide range of issues. The following are a few of my specialties (this list is not all-inclusive):

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Crisis Management

  • Career Goals

  • Self-Esteem

  • Life Transitions

  • PTSD

If I have never been to therapy before, what should I expect? How do I know if I should go, and how do I start?

I would tell a person new to therapy that they should start feeling comfortable with the therapist from the consultation.  Therapy should not feel like talking to a stranger, but someone that you enjoy conversing about your deepest desires with. Therapy should feel like you are almost talking to a friend that can be connected, supportive and empowering.
