Estee Hirsch, LMHC

“Therapy is an opportunity for you to take time to reflect on your life; it is a place where you can feel safe to fully express yourself. I have experience working with the specific struggles the LGBTQ+ population face as well as working with individuals who are struggling as a result of their leaving insular communities.

I work with people on a wide range of issues. The following are a few of my specialties (this list is not all-inclusive):

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Borderline Personality Disorder

  • LGBTQ related struggles

  • PTSD

  • Attachment related struggles

If I have never been to therapy before, what should I expect? How do I know if I should go, and how do I start?

You should expect a safe space to talk about anything that comes up for you. Therapy is a place for you to feel comfortable being authentic without fear of judgment.
