Hannah Wineburgh, LCSW

“Therapy allows an individual the time and space to process aspects of their identity that they may be looking to change, the permission to express emotions that might not feel safe to release otherwise, and the ability to recognize patterns in relationships over time.”

I have 5-10 years experience working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, relationship distress and trauma. I also specialize in chronic illness (with a particular focus on Type 1 Diabetes).

I work with people on a wide range of issues. The following are a few of my specialties (this list is not all-inclusive):

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Relationship Distress

  • Trauma

  • Intimacy

  • Chronic Illness

Are there any philosophies or values that inform your work that I should know about?

I work from a relational and intersectional model, which means that I am interested in the rapport between myself as the therapist, and you, the client, and the ways in which we can co-create an environment of emotional safety and trust. I am also mindful of the ways in which race, class, gender, and sexual orientation inform a person’s unique lived experience and I strive to create space to process and explore the interplay of these dynamics in our work together.
