Support Specialist

MyWellbeing is seeking a reliable, agile, detail-oriented, ambitious, and self-motivated Support Specialist to join our Support team under our Head of Ops’ leadership.

MyWellbeing matches people with the *right* therapist for them while helping therapists grow and manage their practices. We also provide free Grounding Groups to provide mental health support.

We are looking for a part-time support specialist to:

✉️ Email exchange with therapists/mental health providers to support them in their experience and answer frequently asked questions with care and compassion
❓Troubleshoot with seekers who would like additional provider matches
🤔 Troubleshoot with providers who are interested in learning how to make the most of their membership
📞 Occasionally hop on a phone call to learn more about someone's experience or add additional support

We are anticipating that this will begin as a part-time role and there is potential to add additional hours as the role and need evolves.

Additional info:

💙 This person will be the heart and face of communications that are direct conversations with our seekers and providers. Both sides regularly ask questions about how to improve their experience, how to receive more matches, how to find better therapists or in-network therapists, and more. We will provide you a number of FAQ documents as resources that you will use to answer these questions (and the answers will soon become natural for you), we will train you in using templates that you can use to make the responses faster, and we will train you in matching, in case any seekers need new matches and/or need more manual support.

👋 In addition to the role above, you will be welcome to join our team for our team-wide and department-specific meetings, as they interest you, and you're welcome to become involved, add your perspective, and observe and learn, as often as you'd like. For example: we're growing significantly on social, expanding to new cities, and more, which may all be fun and exciting learning opportunities!

⏰ We are anticipating we'll start the role at 20 hours / week with the potential to grow into full-time, especially as our membership volume grows significantly in the next few months.

Note: it is possible to keep the role part-time if desired, and also possible to train others in the role to grow the department of part-time teammates, if you prefer to pursue some of your own entrepreneurial ventures in more volume.

Your direct manager will likely be Nora, MyWellbeing's Head of Operations, with support from Alyssa, MyWellbeing's Founder and CEO. You will check-in with MyWellbeing's Head of Member Experience, as needed, as well, to share client-facing perspective.
