From your perspective, what is therapy?
To me, therapy is a safe space to explore the things about yourself that you don’t ordinarily get to explore in everyday life. For some, that can be a space to “vent” to an unbiased, nonjudgmental person who cares about your wellbeing. For others, it’s a place to look at, reflect on, and gain insight to patterns that are coming up in their lives. And for many, it can be a place where small and big changes are made in the way we approach large and small stressors and challenges
