Robert Sullivan, M.A., MHC-LP

“Therapy is making the space to explore your inner world and learn more about yourself in a safe environment. Life can be hard. Talking it out with someone who can act as a guide in recognizing significant patterns can help foster growth, wellness, and deeper connections.”

I have the most experience working with young adults through periods of transition and interpersonal relationship struggle.

I work with people on a wide range of issues. The following are a few of my specialties (this list is not all-inclusive):

  • Anxiety

  • Self-Esteem

  • Relationship Issues

  • LGBTQ+ Concerns

  • Life Transitions

  • Depression

Are there any philosophies or values that inform your work that I should know about?

Open-mindedness and nonjudgment inform my work, always. I strongly believe in acceptance and learning vs. resistance and shaming, which also heavily influences the way I work with people.

I believe that human beings are extremely complex, but inherently good. We don’t do anything without reason, even if the reasons are not conscious.

I also value humor, which definitely pops up in my work!
