Verified background check
Are you going through a period of transition that feels overwhelming and isolating? Do you feel stuck and unsure about how to make certain changes in your life? Maybe you don't even know what changes you want to make, you just feel blah. Whatever it is that you're feeling, I’m in your corner, and I’m here to help you explore it. As a therapist with my masters in social work from NYU, I am dedicated to using evidence-based practices to meet your individual needs. Together, we will explore your personal experiences, family dynamics, environment and interpersonal relationships to gain a better understanding of your emotions, behaviors, and needs. I have experience with a wide variety of issues, some of which include self-criticism, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and relationship challenges. I value warmth and connection as the basis of our therapeutic relationship. I believe I am here to learn from you, because you are the expert of your life. I use a trauma-informed approach, which means I center your emotional and physical safety throughout our sessions. I explore and help you to identify your negative thought patterns, behaviors and triggers to better manage your emotions. In a world full of uncertainty, I will provide you with a stable and consistent environment you can trust and depend on. You will find that with this emotional safety, it will be much easier to process the difficult emotions you are experiencing. I'm currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Empire BCBS, Evernorth, Optum, United Healthcare, Aetna, Anthem, UMR, and Cigna.

This looks very different for everyone, but in our work together my goal is for you to feel a sense of improved overall well-being. This can look like: achieving a better understanding of your thoughts, emotions, behaviors and triggers, an improved ability to express yourself and communicate with others, a more positive self image, reaching goals you have set for yourself.
Therapy is an opportunity to love yourself the way you deserve, to gain a better understanding of your thoughts and behaviors, and to improve your relationship with yourself and others.
Connection. I think the most valuable thing in this world is being able to create a caring space for someone who really needs it. Life can be hard, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
