Message from Chuck

I view the role of therapy as learning to look at yourself and the world through a lens of curiosity. We'll create a space where you can sit alongside your emotions as they surface, while tuning into the wisdom of your body in real time. It's through this process that stories are unearthed and we can begin the work of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2023 and I'm based in Los Angeles, California. My areas of expertise lie in the mind/body connection, music and movement, and somatic experiencing. As a neurodivergent LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist, I'm committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals of all identities and orientations. My approach is a blend of modalities and unique for each client. I tend to work with CBT, DBT and a mindfulness approach. All approaches currently offered are focused on incorporating work that targets cognitive restructuring and reframing, emotional regulation, deeper self exploration, personal healing and growth. I look forward to helping clients establish practices for introspection that can offer insight and comfort. I find inspiration in nature, cherishing my morning coffee ritual and long walks as opportunities for reflection and gratitude.

Get to Know Chuck

How can you tell if I am benefiting from working with you?

There is a lot of empowerment being able to connect to your inner world and feel your own unique inner trust. I think if you are able to compassionately listen to that inner voice and feel that trust, or "inner knowing", there can be a lot of growth and healing.

How participatory are you during sessions?

In the beginning of working together I ask a lot of questions. I like to think that the more questions explored gives way to a better understanding of clarity for the client.

What is the best part of the work for you?

There are many best parts of working in this field. One part is the initial meeting, and getting to know one another as client and therapist. Another part is being able to witness when a client practices self compassion towards the self.
