I work from a strengths based perspective and believe that you are the expert in your own life. I strive to meet you where you're at and create a safe space for growth and healing.
I take a social justice approach that centers around an understanding of the roles that privilege and oppression may play. Your personal intersecting identities and lived experiences make you beautifully unique and I work with each person as an individual. These identities can impact how we perceive ourselves and how we navigate the world around us. I aim to show up as authentically as possible and approach our time together with curiosity and a positive regard.
I worked extensively in the nonprofit space before going into private practice. I have experience working with housing insecurity, case management, access to mental health care, and disaster recovery/relief.
