Alexis J. Sturnick, LCSW PMH-C, Colleague

"Compassionate and knowledgeable therapist."

Alexa Sokolov, LCSW CASAC, Colleague

"Victoria is truly one of the best. She is so compassionate and caring and truly makes you feel heard and validated while also helping you figure out things you didn’t even realize needed to be addressed. She has a very warm and welcoming, but still professional personality. I wouldn’t have been able to overcome or tackle certain aspects of my life if she hadn’t been in my corner. 10/10 would recommend."

What is the best part of the work for you?

The most rewarding aspect of my work is being present for you as you share your story and navigate the things you want to focus on. I truly value the opportunity to help you express both the small moments and the larger challenges you face. I want you to know that you have someone in your corner, ready to support you through both the joyful times and the difficult ones. You are not alone in this journey.

If I have never been to therapy before, what should I expect? How do I know if I should go, and how do I start?

If you’ve never experienced therapy before and are feeling the need to talk to someone who can provide a caring and unbiased perspective, you are not alone. It can be really difficult to navigate feelings of sadness, loneliness, depression, anxiety, or frustration on your own. I want to assure you that therapy is a safe space where you can explore these feelings without judgment. Everyone’s journey is different, and together we'll discover what works best for you. If you’re ready to take that step, I invite you to reach out for a 15-minute consultation and we'll see if it's the right fit. You deserve support, and I’m here to help.

From your perspective, what is therapy?

I believe therapy is a welcoming space you can look forward to each week, where you can focus on becoming the best version of yourself. It’s a safe haven for learning new skills and sharing both your joys and struggles. In therapy, you can truly be yourself without fear of judgment; it's a place where you can laugh, cry, reflect, and open up about your experiences. This journey not only helps you gain insight into your past and present but also empowers you to navigate your future with greater understanding and clarity.
