The good news is that there is something you can do about it. Embarking on a journey of healing and self-care is incredibly empowering. The beauty of this process is that you’re not alone—there is a community of empathetic and compassionate individuals ready to support you. You also have the power to find the right therapist who is the perfect fit to guide you through this transformative journey. I'm a social worker who has worked with people from ages 5 to adulthood. My purpose in life has always been to serve others. I currently work with adults who are seeking a supportive healing environment for growth and change. I specialize in client-centered cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). As a certified trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), I understand the importance of self-awareness and self-regulation. I've been in therapy for several years, and it has been life-changing to have the support of a therapist who views me as the expert on my own life and wants to help me achieve my healing goals. If you are ready to take the next step in your healing, book a free consultation with me today. Everything that you need to heal is within you. Let me support you in uncovering it!

I have a background in nonprofit leadership and program management. The pandemic was a transformative experience for me, and led me to pursue a career as a mental healthcare practitioner. I believe that the needs of the people and communities I served had changed, but the organizations providing services had not. This realization led me to transition to becoming a mental healthcare practitioner, where my clients can articulate their needs and I am allowed to work directly with them in support of meeting those needs.
I love meeting new people and providing support and healing. But the best part of my work is witnessing a client achieve their mental health and healing goals. It is so rewarding and confirms that my purpose in life is to serve others.
I do occasionally assign homework activities and/or readings for clients to do between sessions. This is because it can be helpful for clients to be able to track and document their own progress. It also allows for practice and implementation of any new skills or coping mechanisms we might explore or discuss together.
Therapy is a process of seeking healing, growth, self-discovery, and coping skills and mechanisms. It is designed to help individuals respond to life's stressors, obstacles, and challenges. As a therapist I view clients as the experts on their own lives and support them through client-centered approaches.
