Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck? It’s common to feel like life’s obstacles are too much to handle, and sometimes you just need someone to help you make sense of it all. If you’re feeling unsure or insecure about how to move forward, know that you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll explore what’s challenging you, identify your strengths, and develop practical strategies to help you create lasting change. As a therapist, I’m committed to meeting you where you are, offering compassion and support as we work through what is going on. With a focus on mindfulness, positive psychology, and solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, I’ll guide you in building resilience, self-awareness, and confidence. Whether it’s overcoming anxiety, navigating relationship issues, or personal growth, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you. I have been teaching yoga for over 10 years and have over 500 hours of yoga training. I believe healing from within, changes our thought patterns to overall change our behaviors. It's just one day at a time and I am here to support you through it. I believe that every person has the potential to create meaningful change and live a more balanced fulfilling life. Let’s start this journey together. Book your first session, and I’ll help you take the first step towards the life you deserve. I am in network with Optum, Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United/Oxford, UMR, Evernorth Behavioral Health, and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Please note, I am not in-network with Medicaid/Medicare plans at this time.

Get to Know Stephanie

How should I prepare for my first session with you?

By committing to be honest with yourself and me, just be you!

From your perspective, what is therapy?

Therapy is taking care of yourself. It is giving yourself the space you deserve to be honest and open and heal what is causing you pain. Therapy is strengthening the mind body connection and developing skills to cope, and regulate emotions as they come up so that they no longer control what you do and don't do.

What led you to become a mental healthcare practitioner?

Therapy works if you work it, and being someone who has been there and put in the work I know everyone has the potential to create whatever life they desire. I wanted to help others see that through their darkness that can also know so much light.

How will our relationship be different than relationships I have with friends/loved ones?

Our relationship will be different because it is unbiased and I will help you look at the parts of yourself that are no longer serving you and challenge you to let them go in a supportive and nonjudgemental way.
