Message from Cialee

Whether you’re facing anxiety, life transitions, or unresolved trauma, I’m here to offer a non-judgmental, empathetic, and collaborative space to explore your experiences. I help individuals manage anxiety, navigate relationship challenges, and reconnect with their sense of self through a trauma-informed approach—with a calm, grounded style that brings a little West Coast peace to the NYC pace. Originally from California, I understand the unique challenges of being a transplant—balancing a new environment while staying true to who you are. I specialize in supporting clients through life transitions, questions of self-worth, and the lingering effects of toxic or controlling dynamics in relationships, including power imbalances and recovery from intimate partner violence. I also have a strong interest in helping women move through challenges around confidence, boundaries, and personal growth. Using a blend of talk therapy, mindfulness and a supportive, personalized approach, we’ll work together at your pace to uncover what’s holding you back and help you build the tools you need to move forward with confidence. If you’re ready to feel more present, empowered, and connected to yourself, I’m here to help.

How do you approach diversity in the room or working with clients who may come from a different background than you?

I’ve taken intentional steps to build my cultural competence and continue to do so—not as a box to check, but as an ongoing, lifelong process. I believe that every person carries a unique story shaped by their culture, identity, and lived experiences, and I approach each therapeutic relationship with humility, curiosity, and respect. I know that I will never be the expert on someone else’s experience, so I make it a priority to listen with open ears and an open heart. I consider it an honor when clients choose to share their stories with me, and I see those moments as powerful opportunities to learn and grow—not just as a therapist, but as a human being. My goal is to create a space where people feel safe, seen, and valued exactly as they are.

What is the best part of the work for you?

What inspires me most is not just offering support, but helping people develop the tools to better understand their own struggles and navigate them with confidence and self-compassion. I love being able to reflect someone’s strengths back to them—often at times when they can’t see it themselves—and witness the powerful transformations that can come through therapy. It’s a privilege to guide people toward recognizing their own resilience, potential, and capacity for growth.

What led you to become a mental healthcare practitioner?

I've always known that I wanted to work with people in a way that felt meaningful. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea of helping others feel seen, heard, and understood—especially during times when they felt most alone or overwhelmed. Becoming a mental health practitioner felt like a natural path for me.
