I’m a licensed psychotherapist who helps high-achieving adults and professionals slow down and reconnect with the parts of themselves that have been pushed aside in the process of “holding it all together.” My approach is rooted in psychoanalytic, trauma-informed, and relational therapy, which means we’ll explore how your early experiences and relationships continue to shape the way you think, feel, and relate today. Many of the people I work with are driven, capable, and outwardly successful, yet often feel disconnected, anxious, or unsatisfied beneath the surface. You might find yourself striving for perfection, feeling responsible for others’ emotions, or struggling to relax without guilt. These patterns often begin in childhood, where being self-sufficient or high-performing may have felt like the safest way to be loved or seen. Together, we’ll gently uncover these dynamics and create space for new ways of relating that feel more authentic, grounded, and connected. In our sessions, I bring curiosity, warmth, and a deeply reflective presence. My work is collaborative and emotionally attuned; it’s not about fixing you but helping you better understand yourself. We’ll pay attention not just to what you talk about but how you feel as you share it, what comes up in your body, what feels difficult to say, and even what happens between us in the room. This process can help you recognize old emotional patterns in real time and begin to experience relationships, including the one with yourself, in a new way. I often integrate EMDR for trauma processing, mindfulness for regulation, and relational insight for deeper understanding. My intention is to create a space where you feel both safe and seen, where defenses can soften and deeper emotions can emerge without judgment. Clients describe my style as thoughtful, warm, and grounding. I believe therapy should feel like a real relationship: human, present, and honest. Some sessions will be emotionally deep, others more reflective or clarifying, but all are guided by the goal of helping you live with greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, and relational ease. If you’re ready to explore the deeper roots of your anxiety, perfectionism, or relationship patterns, I’d love to work with you. Together, we’ll move beyond just managing symptoms toward understanding your story and reconnecting to who you are beneath the roles and expectations.
