Welcome! I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for working professionals, artists, students, and individuals who would like to engage with their emotional life. If you are experiencing setbacks around mental health, feel stuck, and want to better understand interpersonal patterns in your life, therapy is a great start. Together we can unpack what may be at the root of some of these issues when the time is right. Each individual that I work with has different needs, but overall my style is relational, interactive, and exploratory. I often use reframing, humor, and reflection in sessions. Every therapeutic relationship is idiosyncratic and that's what makes the alliance and inner work successful. I look forward to hearing from and about you!

I received my masters in social work from New York University in 2014 and went on to do four years of post-graduate education at The Training Institute for Mental Health where I currently teach, supervise, and serve as the director of the Anna Keefe Women's Center. I’m also a SIFI certified field instructor for NYU.
One guiding philosophy is the idea of working with the unconscious, meaning what is happening beyond our level of awareness. The decisions we make are heavily influenced by our unconscious motivations and also our past experiences. Many people associate the unconscious as a dated Freudian concept that gets us into trouble—in reality it’s more like a friend trying to bail you out!
Therapy is a safe space where individuals go to feel heard and also gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Whether that means looking inward, changing maladaptive patterns, or engaging in healthier interpersonal dynamics, therapy is a great way tool to improve the quality your life! In order for therapy to be most effective, there should be a strong working alliance between therapist and patient which develops once a rapport is establish and trust is built. This is why it’s so important to find the right fit for you.
