Get to Know Lindsay

"As a counselor and coach, Lindsay was prompt and attentive with all her responses. Her empathic approach provided a safe atmosphere to be open, and her well-researched materials and resources were extremely helpful! Her knowledge and focus on self-love, mindfulness and reparenting was crucial to our work together. "

"Lindsay personalizes my session depending on my goals and needs each week. She challenges me to grow in areas of strength and encourages me in areas where I am unsure but above all she reminds me wherever I am is always enough"

Kimry, Client

"Working with Lindsay has helped me feel aligned again; I now feel the best that I have ever felt and prepared to do the work to maintain alignment. With each session, it was as if something was finally clicking. "

From your perspective, what is coaching?

While never disputing the benefits of therapy, I have found coaching allows for more action. The warm challenging approach of coaching gives client's the tools they need to embody their goals and desires. Coaching provides the empowerment, in addition to the understanding. I was a Mental Health Therapist for 7 years, but I've seen different results as a coach.

What is unique about the work you do, or how have you found your work to be different than your colleagues'?

I love incorporating somatic healing, such as EFT/Tapping, and talk-therapy together. Healing from the outside in, while also from the inside-out has profound lasting effects. Science now proves how the brain changes with Meditation, Yoga and Eastern practices. Finding rituals that work for you is pure magic. I merge traditional psychodynamic psychotherapy; neurobiology, and behavioral approaches, with Eastern practices of meditation and mindfulness, which are proven to create measurable change.

How long should I commit to being in coaching, at least in the beginning?

3 months is typical, and usually all thats needed to get to the root cause of what may be keeping you stuck in a particular area of life. The beauty of coaching is that you can always come back when something else in life needs exploration. Since coaching is tailored to specific goals or outcomes, it's easy to track and trace, but also reroute if your desires change along the way.
