Courtney Clifford, Coaching

Message from Courtney

My coaching methodology takes a therapeutic approach combining my training as a trauma-informed coach and equine-assisted psychotherapy specialist, along with my decade career in leadership coaching. Sessions include somatic reprocessing to release the limiting beliefs keeping you stuck coupled with strategically aligned action steps to create the momentum needed to transform. I guide you to embody your true essence, to trust your inner compass, and to uncover and peel away the layers that prevent you from living authentically, so you can create the next-level vision of your life. The basis of my work is rooted in self-directed coaching models informed by systems in psychology, neuroscience, attachment theory, and equine-assisted psychotherapy. I earned my Coaching Certification at New York University. Additionally, I am a trauma-informed Coach through the Natural Lifemanship Institute, Master Certified as a Facilitator and Coach with Association for Talent and Development, Level 2 Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and Kundalini Medicine Yoga Therapy Trained.

Get to Know Courtney

"In just a few months, I have experienced what I can only describe as exponential internal growth. I started working with Courtney during a significant transition in my life. I had just left my corporate job of almost ten years without knowing what I wanted to do next. I am a happier person today with Courtney's willingness and support to push me forward, even on the days when I am struggling. I now have the tools to create the life I want and am well on my way. I highly recommend working with Courtney if you are at a transition point in your life and want someone who is action-oriented. "

"I worked with Courtney at a time when I was having difficulty navigating many challenges. As a mother of 3, remarried after a difficult divorce, and an entrepreneur, life was spinning away from me and I was feeling like I was losing my way. After our first session I regained a sense of self again, and she set me on a path for further discovery as well as a way to keep myself grounded. She is a gifted, warm, and thoughtful guide. If you have the opportunity to work with her, take it."

Jame H. , Client

" I have worked with executive coaches, life coaches, mentors and teachers in the past, but from my first coaching experience with Courtney I felt something different. I had struggled with consistency and accountability to maintain new habits, even though I had been seeking change in my life and career for several years. Courtney made me feel seen and heard. She was invested in my growth from the start, and was able to be tough and hold be accountable without ever making me feel judged or insecure in the process. Creating lasting change in your life can be scary and uncomfortable, but Courtney gave me the kind of tools and support that no other coach had. She helped me navigate my uncertainty with such grace and was there for me ongoing, not just during our scheduled sessions. I’ve found I am less likely to abandon my goals or my daily practice because I have the support of a coach who I know won’t abandon me, and therefore won’t let me abandon myself."

""Courtney is a wonderful coach who led me through multiple transitions in my business during our time working together. I came into our sessions intending to talk strategy, but she gently guided me into doing more of the inner work. Her leadership allowed me to gain deep insights into myself & gave me the tools to stop playing small - i.e. hiding behind fear & perfectionism, while holding me accountable to commit to myself on a deeper basis. I would highly recommend working with Courtney when you’re ready to take yourself & your business to the next level." "

Michelle M. , Client

"“I am blessed to know and have Courtney as my Coach for the last 4 years. Courtney continues to create an atmosphere that allows me to be my true self. Courtney's gentle, loving and discipline approach to coaching allows me to be present in my emotions and feelings during her sessions and workshops. I have learned so much from her presence and I still have more to learn. Courtney leads by example and she helps bring out the best in me and my practice. "

If I have never been to coaching before, what should I expect? How do I know if I should go, and how do I start?

Coaching is a collaboration between the client and the coach. I am not here to advise you, I am here to ask you powerful questions to gain clarity, to shine light on what you are not able to see, and to use guided embodiment practices to dissolve the boulders that are preventing you from moving forward. My sessions are collaborative and empowering- every session ends with inspired action steps to integrate our work throughout the week until we meet again.

From your perspective, what is coaching?

Coaching is an opportunity to take time and create space for profound reflection. With a lens of self-leadership, we’ll clarify your passion, your authentic path, and bring light to blind spots. Together, we’ll align your actions with purpose and ask powerful solution-focused questions. I’ll help you step into a space of radical responsibility that will empower you to define your purpose and activate movement - in the self and in the world. Relinquish control and let your truth guide the way through support and facilitation. You will: •Light an internal fire while deepening your self-knowledge and mastery •Find a system to make empowered decisions and actions to reach your goals •Create a foundation in your truth—your authentic self, so decisions flow more easily ¥Have a support system to hold you accountable to create positive change •Define your version of success while shifting limited beliefs •Relate to your emotions with a deepened level of sensitivity & empowerment
