Participants will learn to understand what anxiety is, including the mental, physical and emotional aspects of anxiety and methods of self-care. Participants will learn to be empowered by recognizing triggers for anxiety and how to use techniques to reduce anxiety. This includes mindfulness practices that will assist in increasing awareness of thoughts and emotions which will help create a greater sense of wellbeing.

This group is an opportunity for queer and trans people of color to come together, express ourselves, and share our unique experiences in a supportive, affirming space. Find centering and nourishment from building connections with others who share similar identities.
In Self Care for Anxiety, we will go over holistic and therapeutic self care practices that anyone can do to reduce anxiety and bring some ease into their lives.
